What is Remap + EGR Off?

Remap + EGR Off combines a Stage 1 performance remap with a complete EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) system software delete in a single ECU calibration file. This popular diesel combo delivers more power and torque while simultaneously eliminating the EGR system that causes carbon buildup, intake contamination, and long-term reliability issues.

The EGR system recirculates a portion of exhaust gases back into the intake manifold to reduce NOx emissions. While effective for emissions compliance, this process introduces hot, soot-laden exhaust gas into the clean intake tract, coating the intake manifold, valves, and intercooler with carbon deposits over time. By disabling EGR in software and combining it with a Stage 1 remap, your engine breathes only clean, cool air — resulting in better combustion, more power, and significantly improved long-term reliability.
