What is Radmin VPN

Radmin VPN is a free virtual private network tool from Famatech that builds a secure, encrypted virtual local area network (LAN) between two or more computers over the internet. It behaves as if both machines were plugged into the same switch, even when they are in different countries. There is no bandwidth limit, no account paywall and no time restriction.

During a remote BMW coding, FSC installation or Stage 1 tuning session, our technician needs a stable, low-latency link to the laptop that is connected to your car through an ENET or D-CAN cable. Radmin VPN creates that link in seconds: you install the client, share the network ID, and our technician joins the same virtual network. The diagnostic software on your laptop then talks to our tools exactly as if we were sitting next to the car.

How to install it for your session

1. Download and run the installer from the link on this page.
2. Open Radmin VPN and either create a network or join the one we provide.
3. Tell us the network name and password in the chat.
4. Keep the laptop awake and the ENET/D-CAN cable connected during the session.

Is it safe

Radmin VPN traffic is encrypted and the connection is peer to peer. We only ask you to install the official, unmodified client linked here. You can uninstall it after the session if you prefer.
