MAF-sensor uitschakelen voor voertuigen met defecte of verwijderde luchtmassameter. Overschakeling naar speed-density brandstofregeling.
MAF Sensor Off is an ECU calibration service that disables the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor input in your engine management system. The MAF sensor measures the volume and density of air entering the engine, and the ECU uses this data to calculate fuel injection quantity and timing. When the MAF sensor fails, becomes contaminated, or is removed as part of a performance modification, the engine can run poorly, trigger fault codes, and enter limp mode.
Our MAF Off calibration switches the ECU from MAF-based air metering to a speed-density calculation model. Instead of relying on the MAF sensor signal, the ECU uses the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor, intake air temperature sensor, and engine speed to calculate airflow. This is a proven and reliable method used by many OEM calibrations as a factory strategy.
The ECU file is modified to disable the MAF sensor diagnostic monitoring and switch the primary air metering strategy to speed-density mode. The fuel injection calculations are recalibrated to use MAP sensor data as the primary input, with appropriate corrections for intake temperature and barometric pressure. All MAF-related fault codes and diagnostic routines are disabled to prevent warning lights.
The result is a clean-running engine that no longer depends on the MAF sensor for proper operation. The speed-density model is inherently robust and less susceptible to the contamination and drift issues that commonly affect MAF sensors over time.
The most common scenarios for MAF Off include a faulty or failing MAF sensor that causes rough running, poor fuel economy, or limp mode. It is also used when the MAF sensor has been physically removed — for example, on vehicles with aftermarket intake systems that do not accommodate the factory MAF housing. Some performance builds deliberately remove the MAF sensor to eliminate a potential restriction in the intake tract.
MAF Off is also a practical solution for vehicles where replacement MAF sensors are expensive, difficult to source, or prone to repeated failure. Rather than replacing the sensor repeatedly, a permanent software solution eliminates the dependency entirely.
The primary benefit is reliable engine operation without dependence on the MAF sensor. Fault codes are eliminated, limp mode is prevented, and the engine runs on a stable speed-density calculation that is less affected by sensor degradation. For performance applications, removing the MAF sensor can also reduce intake restriction and simplify the intake tract design.
Send us your original ECU file and specify that you need MAF Off. We will disable the MAF sensor input, switch to speed-density metering, and suppress all related fault codes. Files are typically delivered within 30 minutes, with checksum correction included.
Ja.
MAF Off bestanden worden doorgaans binnen 30 minuten geleverd tijdens kantooruren.
