Atmosferische benzine ECU-remap. Geoptimaliseerde ontstekingstiming en VVT voor 5-10% vermogenswinst.
A petrol naturally aspirated (N/A) remap is an ECU calibration service designed specifically for engines that do not use forced induction — no turbocharger, no supercharger. These engines rely entirely on atmospheric pressure to fill the cylinders, which means the tuning approach is fundamentally different from boosted applications. The focus shifts to optimizing ignition timing, variable valve timing (VVT), throttle response, and fuel delivery across the entire rev range.
Naturally aspirated engines have less headroom for power gains compared to turbocharged platforms, but a well-executed remap can still deliver meaningful improvements. Typical gains range from 5–10% in power and torque, with noticeable improvements in throttle response, mid-range pull, and overall drivability.
The calibration process starts with your original ECU file. Our engineers analyze the factory maps and identify areas where the manufacturer has left conservative margins — particularly in ignition advance, VVT phasing, and fuel trim tables. By carefully advancing ignition timing where knock margins allow, optimizing cam phasing for better volumetric efficiency, and refining the fuel delivery curve, we extract the hidden potential that the factory left on the table.
On engines equipped with variable valve timing systems (VANOS, VVT-i, MIVEC, VTEC, VarioCam, etc.), the cam timing maps are adjusted to improve torque delivery across a wider RPM band. This is often where the most noticeable improvement in daily driving comes from — better pull from low RPM and a smoother power curve through to the redline.
While the headline power gains are more modest than turbocharged applications, the real-world improvement in driving feel is significant. Throttle response becomes sharper and more immediate. The engine feels more willing to rev and delivers power more linearly. Many owners report that the car feels like a different vehicle after an N/A remap — not necessarily faster in a straight line, but more responsive and engaging to drive.
Fuel economy can also improve slightly, as the engine operates more efficiently at partial throttle. The optimized VVT maps help the engine breathe better at cruising speeds, reducing the need for unnecessary throttle input.
All naturally aspirated petrol engines can benefit from a remap, but the gains are most noticeable on engines with variable valve timing, drive-by-wire throttle systems, and modern engine management platforms. Popular candidates include BMW N52/N53, Toyota 2ZR/1ZZ, Honda K20/K24, Mazda Skyactiv-G, and many VAG FSI/MPI engines. Even older port-injected engines respond well to ignition and fueling optimization.
Send us your original ECU file along with your vehicle details. We will build a custom calibration targeting improved throttle response, optimized VVT maps, and refined ignition timing. Files are typically delivered within 30–60 minutes, with checksum correction included and ready to flash.
Populaire platforms: BMW N52, Toyota VVT-i, Honda K-serie en Mazda Skyactiv-G.
