What is a Stage 1 Tuning Map Pack?

The Stage 1 Tuning Map Pack provides a complete set of calibration maps for experienced tuners and workshops who prefer to modify ECU files themselves. Instead of sending us your file for modification, you receive the actual calibration data — the map values, axis definitions, and scaling information — that you apply to your own files using your preferred tuning software.

This service is designed for professionals who have the tools and knowledge to edit ECU calibrations directly. You get the proven map values that our engineers use in their Stage 1 calibrations, allowing you to apply them to your own customer files, adapt them to specific vehicle configurations, or use them as a reference for your own calibration development.

What Is Included

A Stage 1 map pack contains all the calibration maps needed for a complete Stage 1 performance tune on stock hardware:

Fuel System Maps

• Injection timing maps (pilot, main, post injection)
• Injection quantity/duration maps
• Rail pressure target curves
• Fuel pressure limitation maps

Boost Control Maps

• Boost pressure target maps
• Boost pressure limitation maps
• Wastegate/VGT duty cycle maps
• Overboost protection thresholds

Torque and Limiter Maps

• Driver demand torque maps
• Torque limiter maps (smoke, component protection, thermal)
• Throttle response / pedal maps
• Speed limiter values (if applicable)

This is not a plug-and-play file service. You need tuning software, ECU file reading capability, and the knowledge to identify and modify maps within an ECU binary. If you want a ready-to-flash modified file, our standard remap service is the better choice.

Format and Delivery

Map packs are delivered in a format compatible with major tuning software platforms. Each map includes:

• Map name and function description
• Axis definitions (RPM, load, pressure, temperature)
• Original values and modified values
• Scaling and offset information
• Notes on modification rationale where applicable

How to Order

1. Specify your ECU platform — tell us the exact ECU type, hardware number, and software version
2. Confirm your tools — let us know which tuning software you use so we can deliver in the right format
3. Receive your map pack — download the complete Stage 1 calibration data
4. Apply to your files — use your tuning software to apply the maps to your customer ECU files

Turnaround: Map packs for common platforms are typically delivered within 1-2 hours. Less common ECU variants may take longer.
