Stage 2 requires at minimum a performance downpipe (or decat), an upgraded intercooler, and a high-flow air intake. Stage 3 builds typically include a hybrid or larger turbocharger, uprated fuel injectors, a high-pressure fuel pump upgrade, and often forged pistons and connecting rods for engines targeting very high power levels.
