+370 622 93714Currently unavailable: TempaDrive is not accepting new BMW SME crash-data reset orders at this time.
This page now covers one issue only: collision-related crash data or a crash flag stored in the battery management electronics (SME) after an accident. It does not cover SME replacement, high-voltage battery replacement, cell/cell-module repair, cell supervision circuit replacement, EOS bypass, cell-data restoration, NCD2.0, CBB or LCS/SecOC work.
After a collision, a supported BMW electric or plug-in-hybrid vehicle may store a crash-relevant condition in the SME and keep the high-voltage system disabled. A typical case is an otherwise correctly repaired vehicle that still reports a collision-related SME condition, will not enter READY mode or will not charge after the required safety components and physical damage have already been addressed.
Clearing a stored crash condition cannot repair a deployed pyrofuse, damaged contactor, unsafe battery, insulation fault, broken interlock, damaged wiring or faulty cell. Every physical cause and all required safety checks must be completed before any crash-data operation is considered.
| Your situation | Correct page |
|---|---|
| The vehicle was in an accident and the original, otherwise unchanged SME retains collision-related crash data. | This crash-data reset page. The service is currently unavailable. |
| SME1/SME2 was replaced after battery repair. | BMW SME EOS bypass and cell-data restore service. |
| One or more cells/cell modules or a cell supervision circuit were replaced. | BMW SME post-repair commissioning service. |
| A brand-new HVS1/HVS2 battery was installed. | BMW HVS replacement commissioning service. |
If your battery has been repaired or replaced and you need cell-data restoration, EOS bypass support, NCD2.0, CBB, LCS/SecOC or related diagnostics, use the separate €200–€300 full remote session. Keeping those cases on their own page prevents the crash-reset page from competing with the post-repair service for the same search terms.
