Generate Secure Tokens for KDS / LCS / Diagnostic / SecOC – BMW Security Token Service | TempaDrive
Professional generation of secure tokens required for BMW vehicle operations that need backend authentication. Modern BMWs (G-series, i-series) use multiple security layers that require digitally signed tokens for certain programming, diagnostic, and repair operations.
Token Types We Generate:
KDS (Key Data Service) Tokens – Required for key-related operations: programming new keys, deleting lost keys, key memory reset, EWS/CAS/BDC key synchronization. Essential after key replacement or when adding spare keys without a dealer visit.
LCS (Lifecycle Service) Tokens – Used for module lifecycle operations: transferring modules between vehicles, resetting module ownership, enabling used modules on a new VIN. Required when installing second-hand ECUs.
Diagnostic Tokens – Authentication tokens needed for certain ISTA diagnostic operations that require BMW backend verification. Some advanced diagnostic functions, calibrations, and service resets require these tokens.
SecOC (Secure Onboard Communication) Tokens – Security tokens for the vehicle's internal communication protocol. Required when replacing modules that participate in SecOC-protected communication (e.g., ACSM, BDC, ICM on newer G-series). Without proper SecOC tokens, replaced modules cannot communicate on the vehicle bus.
Why Are Tokens Needed?
BMW implemented token-based security to prevent unauthorized modifications and ensure only authenticated operations are performed on the vehicle. Previously, these operations could only be done at BMW dealers with access to the BMW backend. Our service provides the same tokens independently.

F-series (limited token types): F20, F30, F10, F15, F25, etc.
G-series (full support): G20, G30, G05, G06, G07, G11, G80, G82, G87, etc.
i-series: i4, i5, i7, iX, iX1, etc.
